GE Aerospace launches a cutting-edge XEOS MRO facility in Poland dedicated to LEAP engines.

GE Aerospace has officially opened its new XEOS Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facility in Środa Śląska, Poland—a major milestone aimed at strengthening global support for the company’s high-performance LEAP engines.

The new center, developed in partnership with Lufthansa Technik, is dedicated to servicing LEAP series engines, which power some of the world’s most widely used next-generation aircraft, including the Airbus A320neo and Boeing 737 MAX. These engines, known for their fuel efficiency, lower emissions, and advanced design, are produced by CFM International, a 50/50 joint venture between GE and Safran Aircraft Engines.

Strategically located in Central Europe, the XEOS facility is set to play a key role in GE’s global network of support for its airline customers. The site was selected not only for its geographic accessibility but also for Poland’s growing reputation as a hub for aerospace innovation and skilled engineering talent.
