Kylie Kelce has been on a mission for years — to convince her husband, Jason Kelce, to let their family get a cat. The problem? Jason is allergic… or so he says.
During her Not Gonna Lie podcast, Kylie revealed that she may have found an unlikely ally in Taylor Swift, who could help her win this long-running battle. The idea sparked after a fan suggested that Jason should buy Kylie an orange tabby cat in honor of Swift’s upcoming orange-themed album, The Life of a Showgirl.

“Great idea. Let’s slide the cat in there,” Kylie joked. “We’ll bait and switch Jason… Boom. Cat in the house. He’ll never know.”
Kylie admitted the cat dream might still be far from reality, but she’s playing the long game:
“There will be a cat in our future.”
The cat conversation also came up during the New Heights podcast, when Travis Kelce asked Swift about Jason telling his daughters — Wyatt (5), Elliotte (4), Bennett (2), and Finn (4 months) — that cats are poisonous.

Swift, who owns three cats — Meredith, Olivia, and Benjamin — took it as a personal challenge:
“As soon as I got the kids around the cats, my goal was to prove they weren’t poisonous… Benjamin lets humans hold him like a baby. The girls loved it.”

She added that Jason’s daughters now adore her pets, often exclaiming, “Meredith is here!” — proof that the “poisonous” myth is losing ground.
Jason did admit he might accept a barn cat that stays outdoors, but Swift warned him that his daughters would probably sneak it into bed every night.
When Jason insisted his cat allergy was real, Swift teased:
“Allegedly. I’d like to see a copy of that test. I think you just don’t like cats.”

The Kelces recently said goodbye to their two beloved Irish wolfhounds, Winnie and Baloo. Back in March, Kylie openly shared her plan:
“One day, I’m just going to take our kids to the local rescue… pick out a cat… and make sure Jason’s away traveling when I bring it home.”
Looks like the battle for the Kelce family cat isn’t over yet — but with Taylor Swift in her corner, Kylie’s chances just went up.
