White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt shared a selfie of herself enjoying a coffee early in the morning before another busy day with Donald Trump in Scotland.
Karoline Leavitt has ditched her Barbie glam as she completely changed her look while visiting Scotland with Donald Trump this week.
The White House Press Secretary is accompanying the President during the visit, which has seen Trump open a new golf course at his Aberdeenshire resort. After the opening, the President, who made a massive Epstein files radio blunder, said he would play a quick round before returning to Washington to “put out fires all over the world.”
In the morning, Karoline shared a selfie of herself in a casual look – different from her usual glam outfits. In the photo, she was seen wearing a blue jumper with the American flag paired with a white sleeveless jacket. It comes after a Trump family member revealed the latest chilling symptom of his cognitive decline and revealed he is “far gone”.
The press secretary, smiling at the camera, was seen holding a cup of coffee while walking with Scottish greenery in the background. She wrote on the image, “Morning coffee walk to kick off another busy day!”
Some of her recent Instagram Stories also included Karoline enjoying fish and chips as well as tea and a croissant. This morning, she also shared some behind-the-scene snaps of the opening of the new golf course.
Leavitt’s Relaxed Fashion and Trump’s Golf Course Opening
Karoline is always elegant while working but lately she hasn’t been afraid to show her casual side too. Last week, she shared a picture to Instagram of herself at a basketball game alongside US Special Assistant and Communications Advisor to President Donald Trump, Margot Martin. Karoline shared the picture to mark Margot’s 30th birthday.
The 27-year-old opted for a casual and youthful look for the trip, a far cry from what her fans are used to seeing her wear when she is performing her duties in the White House. Karoline wore her long blonde hair in a sleek straight style flowing over her shoulders, with white jeans and neon green vest top.
She accessorized her look with gold wedges and a gold bag, wearing a watch with a tan leather strap on her wrist. Karoline and Margot both beamed confidently at the camera as they posed in the picture, which they both shared on the social media platform.
Today, Trump teed off at The New Course in Menie in front of a crowd including golfers, the Scottish First Minister and the Scottish Labour leader. The President also made reference to late James Bond actor Sir Sean Connery’s reported support for his golf resort – even attempting to recreate the actor’s voice.
Just before hitting the first ball at the New Course, the US president told those gathered on a grandstand: “We started with a beautiful piece of land, but we made it much more beautiful. The area has really welcomed us. If you remember at the beginning there wasn’t quite a welcome, but it wasn’t bad. But with time they liked us more and more, now they love us and we love them.”
Trump added: “I look forward to playing it today. We’ll play it very quickly and then I go back to DC and we put out fires all over the world. We did one yesterday – you know we stopped the war. We’ve stopped about five wars. That’s much more important than playing golf. As much as I like it, it’s much more important.”
