MrBeast Gives Away Coldplay Tickets to Fans Who Tag Their Bosses After Kiss-Cam Scandal

MrBeast’s Coldplay ticket giveaway has gone viral as fans tag bosses, while Astronomer’s ‘kiss cam’ scandal with CEO Andy Byron continues to keep the internet buzzing.

MrBeast’s latest online stunt has gone viral as this one pokes fun at the ongoing Coldplay concert scandal involving former Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and HR chief Kristin Cabot.

The YouTube star announced on X, formerly Twitter, that he was giving away two VIP tickets to a Coldplay concert.

“I bought two VIP Coldplay tickets and one random person that tags their boss in the replies will win them! (if you win watch out for the Jumbotron),” MrBeast wrote, alongside a photo of himself holding the tickets. The post quickly exploded, racking up over 2.3 million views, prompting hundreds to flood the comments section, comically tagging their bosses.

One user quipped, “I’d like to take my director of HR,” to which MrBeast replied, “I can make an exception for that.”

Another joked, “What if I’m my own boss? Lol.” A third added, “I own a farm with my wife, so she’s my boss. Does that count?”

“This is tempting me to tag my boss in the post,” another penned.

The frenzy follows Byron and Cabot, who were captured on a stadium “kiss cam” during a Coldplay show in Boston, igniting backlash from the company. The video, which spread rapidly across social media platforms, led many to wonder if the top executives would face consequences.

Astronomer has since addressed the rumors on social media. “Astronomer is committed to the values and culture that have guided us since our founding,” the company wrote in a LinkedIn statement.

“Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability. The Board of Directors has initiated a formal investigation into this matter, and we will have additional details to share very shortly.”

Astronomer also clarified that the woman seen laughing beside Byron and Cabot in the video had been misidentified. “Alyssa Stoddard was not at the event, and no other employees were in the video,” the company said, adding that reports claiming Byron had issued a public statement were incorrect.

The company later wrote, “Andy Byron has tendered his resignation, and the Board of Directors has accepted. The Board will begin a search for our next Chief Executive as Cofounder and Chief Product Officer Pete DeJoy continues to serve as interim CEO.”
