NEW YORK (AP) — Kid Cudi is the latest celebrity set to testify at Sean “Diddy” Combs’ ongoing sex trafficking trial in New York.

The acclaimed rapper, known legally as Scott Mescudi, is expected to take the stand Thursday to discuss his brief relationship from 14 years ago with Combs’ ex-girlfriend, R&B singer Cassie.

Court documents and previous testimony reveal that Combs reacted with violent rage over the relationship, allegedly assaulting Cassie and reportedly arranging for Cudi’s convertible to be firebombed in retaliation.
